The aged toilet internals needed to be replaced in the guest bath, the perfect chance to try a dual-flush conversion. One button, two options, push smaller button for #1, & the larger button for #2. I anticipate the install won’t be as simple as they claim; the primary gasket feels too rigid to make a good seal. These systems are just becoming common in the us but have been used for years in Europe. Water ain’t cheap..
I think we bought a house! Still waiting to close, but in the meantime what better to do than day dream of a new color scheme.
Jess & I bid farewell to our long-going CB750 project. I took it out for the last time on a warm Sunday afternoon & kissed it goodbye shortly after. It will be missed..
Finally finished the hi-fi cabinet. Five large drawers with tension-hinged storage up top. Who want$ it?
Meanwhile, in the studio..
Bobba’s vintage candy urn.. Lets eat..
I created this wood urn for our dear friend Bailey Dog. The pattern that wraps the box is taken from her collar & the tinted wood tones reflect the warm color of her coat. Bailey, you will be missed.
Found this rusty florescent shop light from the early 50’s in my Grandfather’s stash of old remnants. I chopped it up, wired some porcelain sockets, & added mirror-bottom bulbs to finish the look. Shop lights in the dining room are required.
Reclaimed walnut platform bed. Touch sensitive dimmer, check!
More on this Hi-Fi cabinet refresh soon enough..
